to Risk Management Association Chesapeake Chapter's Young
Financial Professionals
The Officers/Board of Governors of the Chesapeake Chapter
of Risk Management Association conceptualized the Young Financial
Professionals in the spring of 1998.
In designing the program, the founders elected to use Young
Financial Professionals as a vehicle to promote awareness
of the goals and objectives of RMA while providing a strong
networking opportunity for new professionals in commercial
banking positions, as well as other related financial services.
The ability for Young Financial Professionals to meet and
socialize with their peers is a fundamental strength of this
group.
The Young Financial Professionals Group looks to attract individuals
with ten or less years of industry experience who are committed
to a career in banking. There is no age limit for membership,
which means that all new banking industry professionals are
welcome. Meetings and events are scheduled as a way to further
our personal relationships and strengthen our commitment to
banking and RMA.
