Brian P. Valenti - Senior Supervisory Financial Analyst
in the Credit Risk Section in the Division of Banking Supervision
and Regulation at the Federal Reserve Board
Mr. Valenti
is responsible for monitoring credit conditions affecting banking
organizations, developing supervisory guidance to address emerging
risk issues and implementing System policies for supervising credit
risk.
Prior to joining
the Federal Reserve Board, Mr. Valenti was associated with Bank
of America where he was responsible for the management and restructuring
of syndicated corporate credit exposure. Prior to this, Mr. Valenti
was a Vice President in Fleet Securities Leveraged Finance Group
where he was responsible for the structuring and placement of corporate
debt in the syndicated loan market. Mr. Valenti has also held various
positions in both the commercial and residential lending areas.
Mr. Valenti
earned an M.B.A degree from Bentley College’s McCallum Graduate
School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wittenberg
University.
Sharon
K. Ramsay - Accounting Policy & Disclosure, Banking
Supervision and Regulation, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System
Ms. Ramsay is
a Senior Supervisory Financial Analyst for the Board of Governors
of the Federal Reserve. In that role, she monitors standard-setting
activities, domestic and international accounting proposals, and
other developments to determine the potential impact on the banking
industry. She is involved in the development of Board staff positions
on accounting and auditing issues, and interprets accounting and
auditing standards for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and
district Federal Reserve Banks.
Ms. Ramsay joined
the Board from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond where she was
a commissioned examiner for the Regional Organizations with Complexity
or Specialization section. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve
System, Ms. Ramsay was vice president of an economic consulting
firm. Her previous banking experience is in the areas of market
and credit risk management, including asset/liability management,
credit analysis, and loan review. Ms. Ramsay also served as associate
director for an SBA small business development center.
Ms. Ramsay is
a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
She holds a BS in Finance and an MBA with accounting specialty from
Drake University.
