Chesapeake Chapter
of RMA
Mission Statement
The mission of the Chesapeake Chapter of RMA is to support the
mission of RMA headquarters by advocating and supporting Chapter
members to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial
services industry and help the members understand how sound
risk principles contribute to enhanced profitability and more
efficient allocation of capital to support growth. The Chapter
provides training and information that will allow members to
be better prepared to meet the needs of customers and to grow
professionally.
Our objective is to support the efforts of RMA to further the
ability of our members to identify, assess and manage the impact
of credit, operational, and market risk on their institutions
and their customers. Additionally, the Chapter is focused on
developing an active board to deliver quality service, mentor
individuals for leadership opportunities within their organizations
and increase membership in RMA.
These objectives will be accomplished through:
- Professional
development and networking opportunities
- Keeping members
regarding industry and economic related topics via communication,
programming, seminars and training
- Promoting
High Value Products offered by RMA headquarters
- Delivering
additional value to members by providing resources they
request
